Ayaka Naoko Ohno
37 years teaching Spanish in Shinjuku
- 🇯🇵 Shinjuku, Tokyo, Japan
- Bamboo Primary School
- Since 1979
- Japanese
Bamboo Primary School is my second home. I teach Spanish there since 1979, mostly Year 10.
I've coached the school's cross-country squad for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
More about Ayaka
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the old fort, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.
What gifts mean to Ayaka: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.

you taught me Spanish in 2011 at Bamboo Primary School. I still remember that terrible school play.

I failed Spanish twice before you. After you I passed with a B. Thank you. Greetings from Victoria.
