Ayaka Harumi Nakajima

Helping people break into first-generation students

  • 🇯🇵 Shinjuku, Tokyo, Japan
  • Shinjuku Foundation
  • 1996 to 2023
  • Japanese, Spanish
For 27 years I've mentored people in first-generation students and design. Mostly it's coffee, honest feedback and a lot of listening. Most of my mentees are early in their careers. A few are in their fifties and starting over, and they're some of my favorites. I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.
