Pottery for 38 years in Toronto
- 🇨🇦 Toronto, Ontario, Canada
- Since 1988
- English
I've worked in pottery since 1988. I learned from my older brother and passed what I could on to 950 apprentices.
Apprentices come in nervous and leave proud. That's my favorite part. I always make time for a proper cup of tea.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.

Crafts and trades
What gifts mean to Axel: I'd put gifts toward a new set of tools for the next apprentice.
