Axel N. Burns
Geography and English literature teacher, Miami
- 🇺🇸 Miami, Florida, United States
- 1981 to 2018
- English, Spanish
I taught geography at Miami Girls' School in Miami from 1981 to 2018. Most days I taught Year 9, and I learned every name in the first week.
I coached the school's football team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
More about Axel
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the coast, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.

You taught me geography in 1994 at Miami Girls' School. I still remember the morning the power went out and we had class in the yard.
