For 48 years I've run the chess program at Bristol Youth Club in Bristol. We trained 3 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
Practice always ended with the same rule: nobody walks home alone. I walk the dog by the river.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Axel
I still keep the team photo from our best season on the wall.
What gifts mean to Axel: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.
