Axel Gutierrez
Retired English literature teacher from Oakwood Grammar School
- 🇺🇸 Los Angeles, California, United States
- Oakwood Grammar School
- 1989 to 2012
- English
I came to teaching late, after working as a farmhand, and 23 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
I ran the reading group after school and some of my proudest moments happened there. I volunteer at the food bank on Saturdays.
More about Axel
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the national park, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.

you taught me English literature in 2001 at Oakwood Grammar School. I still remember the day we all got the giggles in assembly. Thank you again.
