Axel C. Mejia

Volunteer mentor with Sunrise Mentoring Circle

  • 🇺🇸 Bakersfield, California, United States
  • Sunrise Mentoring Circle
  • 1986 to 2024
  • English
I started mentoring after a colleague did the same for me. Since then I've worked with 800 people through Sunrise Mentoring Circle. I don't give advice so much as ask questions until the answer shows up. I paint watercolors of whatever is outside the window. I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.

What gifts mean to Axel: I'd put gifts toward travel for in-person sessions with students.
