Awino Upendo Simiyu
Self-taught ceramics artist
- 🇰🇪 Embakasi, Nairobi, Kenya
- Embakasi Studio
- Since 1990
- English
I work mostly in ceramics, sometimes glass art. My first show was in 1990 at Embakasi Studio, and nobody came except my family and one confused dog.
I also teach a weekly class at Embakasi Studio, which keeps me honest.
