Awino Odhiambo
Oil painting and illustration artist
- 🇹🇿 Arusha, Arusha, Tanzania
- Stonebridge Gallery
- 2012 to 2021
- English, Swahili
I work mostly in oil painting, sometimes illustration. My first show was in 2012 at Stonebridge Gallery, and nobody came except my family and one confused dog.
I'm usually the first one in and the last to leave. My studio is always a bit of a mess.
If we met, say hello. I'd love to know how life turned out.
More about Awino
I've had 7 small exhibitions over the years. My favorite was the one with the worst lighting.
Mediums
What gifts mean to Awino: I'd put a gift toward a kiln repair. It's been a long time coming.
