Awino Margaret Mussa
Master of tiling, now teaching apprentices
- 🇺🇬 Kampala, Central Region, Uganda
- Eastgate Trades Guild
- Since 1995
- English, Swahili
My trade is tiling. I opened my own shop in 1995 in Kampala and I'm still there most mornings.
Apprentices come in nervous and leave proud. That's my favorite part. I take the work seriously, though not myself.

If I fixed something for you, I hope it's still holding.
What gifts mean to Awino: A gift would go toward tools for apprentices who can't afford their own.

You taught me the trade. I run my own shop now. Greetings from Pietermaritzburg.
