Awino Irene Onyango
Bass and sitar teacher
- 🇰🇪 Kasarani, Nairobi, Kenya
- Kasarani Frangipani Quartet
- Since 2000
- English
I've played bass since 2000, mostly in pubs, churches, weddings and anywhere else that would have me. These days I also teach.
I teach about 13 students a week. Some of them are better than me now, which is the whole point. I sing in a choir.
I'm still learning every day.
What gifts mean to Awino: I'd put a gift toward recording a small album.
