Avery Cruz
14 years teaching home economics in Auckland
- 🇳🇿 Auckland, Auckland, New Zealand
- Windsor Academy
- Since 2011
- English, Spanish
I came to teaching late, after working as a radio technician, and 15 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
My classroom was always a bit noisy, a bit untidy and usually full of people who came for the biscuits.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Avery
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.
