Autumn W. Bradley
Youth hockey coach and mentor
- 🇳🇿 Hamilton, Waikato, New Zealand
- Hamilton Youth Club
- 1981 to 2016
- English
For 35 years I ran the hockey program at Hamilton Youth Club in Hamilton. We trained 5 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I wrote a short note to every student at the end of term.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Autumn
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.
