Autumn C. Walters
Retired history teacher from Oakland Academy
- 🇺🇸 Oakland, California, United States
- 2008 to 2024
- English
Oakland Academy was my second home. I taught history there from 2008 to 2024, mostly mixed-ability classes.
My classroom was always a bit noisy, a bit untidy and usually full of people who came for the biscuits.
More about Autumn
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

You taught me history in 2025 at Oakland Academy. I still remember the cold winter when we all kept our coats on

I'm a chef now and I honestly think it started in your classroom. Greetings from Essen.
