Recovery mentor, Los Angeles

- 2018 to 2025

I started mentoring after a colleague did the same for me. Since then I've worked with 260 people through Los Angeles Learning Hub.
Most of my mentees are early in their careers. A few are in their fifties and starting over, and they're some of my favorites.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Aurora
Some of my mentees now mentor others. That's how it's meant to work.
Areas of mentoring
What gifts mean to Aurora: I'd put gifts toward travel for in-person sessions with students.
