I coached table tennis at Vancouver Athletic Club from 1980 to 2010. Most of my players were between 10 and 14, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
My best seasons were the ones we lost most games and still showed up every Tuesday.

I still think about the cold winter when we all kept our coats on. Best summer of my life. Greetings from Ann Arbor.
