I spent 29 years as a lecturer in astronomy at San Diego Institute of Technology in San Diego. I loved the lecture hall and loved office hours even more.
I kept a jar of spare pencils on my desk. It sounds small, but students remember small things.
If we met, say hello. I'd love to know how life turned out.
More about Aurora
I retired from full-time teaching but still mentor a few students a year.
What gifts mean to Aurora: Gifts will go to a small travel fund for students presenting their first paper.
