Auma Mwanaisha Rashidi
Guitar player and teacher in Nairobi
- 🇰🇪 Nairobi, Nairobi, Kenya
- Nairobi Band
- Since 1995
- English, Swahili
I've played guitar since 1995, mostly in pubs, churches, weddings and anywhere else that would have me. These days I also teach.
I teach about 13 students a week. Some of them are better than me now, which is the whole point. I bake for the whole street at New Year.
More about Auma
I write my first song when I was 22. It was terrible and I still love it.
What gifts mean to Auma: Any gift will help me keep teaching kids who can't afford lessons.
