Auma Irene Hamisi
Flute player and teacher in Kasarani
- 🇰🇪 Kasarani, Nairobi, Kenya
- Kasarani Orchestra
- 1994 to 2021
- English, Swahili, French
I play flute and songwriting. I started in 1994 with a secondhand instrument and a lot of stubbornness.
My favorite gigs are the small ones where somebody cries a little in the third row.

What gifts mean to Auma: A gift would go toward new strings, repairs and music for my students.
