Aubree P. Ruiz
Coached table tennis for 14 years in Los Angeles
- 🇺🇸 Los Angeles, California, United States
- Los Angeles Boxing Gym
- 2002 to 2016
- English, Spanish
For 14 years I ran the table tennis program at Los Angeles Boxing Gym in Los Angeles. We trained 5 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I stayed late on Thursdays for anyone who needed it.

I still think about the morning the power went out and we had class in the yard. Best summer of my life. Greetings from Breda.
