Aubree D. Thornton
Hockey coach, Birmingham Swimming Club
- 🇬🇧 Birmingham, England, United Kingdom
- Birmingham Swimming Club
- 2002 to 2018
- English, French
For 16 years I ran the hockey program at Birmingham Swimming Club in Birmingham. We trained 4 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. My door was open at lunch.
I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.
More about Aubree
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.
