Aubree C. Burns
27 years teaching home economics in Hamilton
- 🇨🇦 Hamilton, Ontario, Canada
- Cedar Grove Girls' School
- 1981 to 2001
- English
I taught home economics at Cedar Grove Girls' School in Hamilton from 1981 to 2001. Most days I taught the final-year class, and I learned every name in the first week.
I coached the school's volleyball team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Aubree
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the coast, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.

What gifts mean to Aubree: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
