I coached badminton at Pune Crescent Swimming Club from 2009 to 2023. Most of my players were between 9 and 16, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I never turned anyone away.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
