Atsushi Miura
Traditional drumming player and teacher in Osaka
- 🇯🇵 Osaka, Osaka, Japan
- Osaka Orchestra
- 2006 to 2021
- Japanese
I've played traditional drumming from 2006 to 2021, mostly in pubs, churches, weddings and anywhere else that would have me. These days I also teach.
I teach about 18 students a week. Some of them are better than me now, which is the whole point. I paint watercolors of whatever is outside the window.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.

If you ever danced at one of my shows, I hope it was a good night.

What gifts mean to Atsushi: A gift would go toward new strings, repairs and music for my students.
