Atim Lilian Mussa
Music and art teacher, Mombasa
- 🇰🇪 Mombasa, Mombasa, Kenya
- Mombasa Academy
- Since 2005
- English, Swahili
I came to teaching late, after working as a postal worker, and 21 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
Outside the classroom I make terrible puns. Inside it, I never turn anyone away.
More about Atim
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the science museum, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.
What gifts mean to Atim: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
