Atieno Upendo Kato
Oud and jazz teacher
- 🇺🇬 Kampala, Central Region, Uganda
- Parkside Choir
- 1989 to 2005
- English, Swahili
I play oud and jazz. I started in 1989 with a secondhand instrument and a lot of stubbornness.
My favorite gigs are the small ones where somebody cries a little in the third row.
I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.
