Athumani Barasa Kyagulanyi
Helping people break into trades
- 🇰🇪 Thika, Kiambu, Kenya
- Thika Association
- Since 1991
- English, Swahili
I started mentoring after a colleague did the same for me. Since then I've worked with 1,930 people through Thika Association.
Most of my mentees are early in their careers. A few are in their fifties and starting over, and they're some of my favorites.
I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.
What gifts mean to Athumani: I'd put gifts toward travel for in-person sessions with students.
