I've been a nurse for 30 years, most of them in palliative care at Thessaloniki Children's Hospital in Thessaloniki. Night shifts taught me patience, and patients taught me everything else.
The thing I'm proudest of is that families usually remember my name. I'm always reading two books at once.
I'm still learning every day.
