Asuka Shimizu

Computer science and economics teacher, Kyoto

  • 🇯🇵 Kyoto, Kyoto, Japan
  • Kyoto Secondary School
  • 1987 to 2003
  • Japanese, English
I taught computer science and economics at Kyoto Secondary School, Kyoto. I played music while people worked. Over the years I had 620 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile. It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.

More about Asuka

The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.
