Aster Tigist Hailemariam

Environmental science and physical education teacher, Addis Ababa

  • 🇪🇹 Addis Ababa, Addis Ababa, Ethiopia
  • Addis Ababa Academy
  • Since 1982
  • English
For 44 years I have been the environmental science teacher at Addis Ababa Academy. I teach Grade 4 and a few brave older students who wanted extra help. I've coached the school's volleyball team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again. I'm still learning every day.

What gifts mean to Aster: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
