Aster Lemlem Kassa
Master of tiling, now teaching apprentices
- 🇪🇹 Gondar, Amhara, Ethiopia
- Gondar Trades Guild
- Since 1984
- English, Amharic
My trade is tiling. I opened my own shop in 1984 in Gondar and I'm still there most mornings.
Apprentices come in nervous and leave proud. That's my favorite part. I answer every message, eventually.
If we met, say hello. I'd love to know how life turned out.
Crafts and trades
What gifts mean to Aster: I'd put gifts toward a new set of tools for the next apprentice.
