Aster Eleni Kassa

Coached netball for 40 years in Addis Ababa

🇪🇹 Addis Ababa, Addis Ababa, Ethiopia
Addis Ababa Community Club
Since 1986
English

I've coached netball at Addis Ababa Community Club since 1986. Most of my players were between 12 and 13, and a lot of them turned into friends for life. My best seasons were the ones we lost most games and still showed up every Tuesday. I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.

More about Aster

Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.

What gifts mean to Aster: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.
