I've coached athletics at Casablanca Community Club since 1988. Most of my players were between 12 and 18, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I answer every email, even at midnight.
If we met, say hello. I'd love to know how life turned out.
What gifts mean to Asma: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.
