Asif Tareq Ahmed
Master of weaving, now teaching apprentices
- 🇧🇩 Chattogram, Chattogram, Bangladesh
- Old Chattogram Repairs
- Since 1998
- English, Bengali
I've worked in weaving since 1998. I learned from my aunt and passed what I could on to 640 apprentices.
I can still tell good work from rushed work from across the street. I garden badly but happily.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Asif
Some of my old apprentices now run their own shops. I couldn't be prouder.
