Asif Abdul Ali
Traditional drumming and brass band teacher
- 🇧🇩 Dhaka, Dhaka, Bangladesh
- Windsor Band
- Since 1985
- English
I play traditional drumming and brass band. I started in 1985 with a secondhand instrument and a lot of stubbornness.
I teach about 7 students a week. Some of them are better than me now, which is the whole point. I paint watercolors of whatever is outside the window.
If you remember me, I'd love to hear from you.
More about Asif
I write my first song when I was 19. It was terrible and I still love it.

What gifts mean to Asif: A gift would go toward new strings, repairs and music for my students.
