Ashok N. Thakur

Self-taught sculpture artist

  • 🇮🇳 Mumbai, Maharashtra, India
  • Mumbai Pottery
  • 1989 to 2001
  • English, Hindi
I got into sculpture as a hobby and somewhere along the way it became the thing I do every day. I also teach a weekly class at Mumbai Pottery, which keeps me honest. It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.

More about Ashok

I've had 9 small exhibitions over the years. My favorite was the one with the worst lighting.

What gifts mean to Ashok: I'd put a gift toward a kiln repair. It's been a long time coming.
