Ashok C. Awasthi
Gospel player and teacher in Nizamabad
- 🇮🇳 Nizamabad, Telangana, India
- Rosewood Band
- Since 2007
- English, Hindi
I play gospel and accordion. I started in 2007 with a secondhand instrument and a lot of stubbornness.
I teach about 8 students a week. Some of them are better than me now, which is the whole point. I walk the dog by the river.
I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.
More about Ashok
I write my first song when I was 19. It was terrible and I still love it.
What gifts mean to Ashok: Any gift will help me keep teaching kids who can't afford lessons.
