Ashok A. Thakur

Self-taught oil painting artist

  • 🇮🇳 Rajkot, Gujarat, India
  • St. Anne's Art Collective
  • 1985 to 2023
  • English, Hindi
I got into oil painting as a hobby and somewhere along the way it became the thing I do every day. Most of my work is inspired by faces I pass in the street. I paint watercolors of whatever is outside the window.

More about Ashok

I've had 8 small exhibitions over the years. My favorite was the one with the worst lighting.
