I came to teaching late, after working as a clerk, and 34 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
Over the years I've had 710 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.
More about Asad
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

You taught me English literature in 2000 at Multan Boys' School. I still remember the morning the power went out and we had class in the yard.

You taught me English literature in 1992 at Multan Boys' School. I still remember the day the fire alarm went off during the exam.
