I've been a nurse for 14 years, most of them in dialysis at Faisalabad University Hospital in Faisalabad. Night shifts taught me patience, and patients taught me everything else.
The thing I'm proudest of is that families usually remember my name. I garden badly but happily.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
