Arun A. Rathnam
Master of welding, now teaching apprentices
- 🇮🇳 Indore, Madhya Pradesh, India
- The Heritage Trades Guild
- 1980 to 2002
- English
My trade is welding. I opened my own shop in 1980 in Indore and I'm still there most mornings.
I can still tell good work from rushed work from across the street. I garden badly but happily.
More about Arun
Some of my old apprentices now run their own shops. I couldn't be prouder.
What gifts mean to Arun: I'd put gifts toward a new set of tools for the next apprentice.
