Bicycle repair, done properly
- 🇺🇸 Anaheim, California, United States
- St. Mary's Works
- 1982 to 2004
- English
I've worked in bicycle repair from 1982 to 2004. I learned from my mother and passed what I could on to 790 apprentices.
Apprentices come in nervous and leave proud. That's my favorite part. I carry a notebook everywhere.
More about Arturo
Some of my old apprentices now run their own shops. I couldn't be prouder.
Crafts and trades
What gifts mean to Arturo: I'd put gifts toward a new set of tools for the next apprentice.
