Artur Damian Kowalski
Master of painting and decorating, now teaching apprentices
- 🇵🇱 Gdańsk, Pomerania, Poland
- Little Gdańsk Trades Guild
- 1989 to 2017
- Polish, English
I've worked in painting and decorating from 1989 to 2017. I learned from my mother and passed what I could on to 1,260 apprentices.
The best compliment I ever got was a customer who called me back 25 years later for another job.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Artur
Some of my old apprentices now run their own shops. I couldn't be prouder.

What gifts mean to Artur: A gift would go toward tools for apprentices who can't afford their own.
