Arthur Wellington Borges
21 years teaching Spanish in Pelotas
- 🇧🇷 Pelotas, Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil
- Jacaranda Grammar School
- Since 1996
- Portuguese, English
I came to teaching late, after working as a waiter, and 30 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
Over the years I've had 780 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
More about Arthur
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

I was in your the final-year class class in 1999. You believed I could do it before I did. Thank you again.

you taught me Spanish in 1999 at Jacaranda Grammar School. I still remember that terrible school play.
