Armando T. Arias
Helping people break into recovery
- 🇺🇸 San Jose, California, United States
- San Jose Association
- Since 1991
- English, Spanish
For 35 years I've mentored people in recovery and small business. Mostly it's coffee, honest feedback and a lot of listening.
I don't give advice so much as ask questions until the answer shows up. I volunteer at the food bank on Saturdays.
More about Armando
Some of my mentees now mentor others. That's how it's meant to work.
Areas of mentoring
What gifts mean to Armando: I'd put gifts toward travel for in-person sessions with students.
