Armando Nava
Master of bicycle repair, now teaching apprentices
- 🇲🇽 Zapopan, Jalisco, Mexico
- Ashford Works
- 1991 to 2012
- Spanish
I've worked in bicycle repair from 1991 to 2012. I learned from my uncle and passed what I could on to 740 apprentices.
The best compliment I ever got was a customer who called me back 12 years later for another job.
I'm still learning every day.
Crafts and trades
What gifts mean to Armando: A gift would go toward tools for apprentices who can't afford their own.
