27 years teaching art in Nashville
- 🇺🇸 Nashville, Tennessee, United States
- Silverlake Public School
- Since 1985
- English, Spanish
For 41 years I have been the art teacher at Silverlake Public School. I teach Grade 4 and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
Over the years I've had 2,130 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Armando
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the coast, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.
What gifts mean to Armando: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
