I've been a nurse for 32 years, most of them in dialysis at Eastgate Maternity Hospital in Sheffield. Night shifts taught me patience, and patients taught me everything else.
The thing I'm proudest of is that families usually remember my name. I bake for the whole street at New Year.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
