Arjun E. Verma
Hockey and fitness coach, Mumbai
- 🇮🇳 Mumbai, Maharashtra, India
- Since 1980
- English, Hindi
For 46 years I've run the hockey program at Mumbai Athletic Club in Mumbai. We trained 4 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I write a short note to every student at the end of term.
More about Arjun
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.
What gifts mean to Arjun: Anything sent will buy equipment for the junior team.
