I taught computer science and social studies at Surabaya Girls' School, Surabaya. I kept a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
Over the years I had 530 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
If you remember me, I'd love to hear from you.
More about Arief
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the capital, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.
